Wow, this has been a long time coming, so here it goes!
* Listening to my funny kids play and laugh together- as opposed to fighting together!
* Early summer mornings- I love the sounds and the feel- I seriously don't see enough of them right now
* Going on fun dates with my husband- he's the best
* Hanging out with my whole fam and friends - I am so blessed
* The gospel- what would I be
* Seems to be a theme -losing someone I love for sure
* Failing as a mother- I don't want to disappoint my children, not teach them all I need to, or have regrets.
* Spiders!
* When I'm waterskiing I'm really afraid a fish will bite my toes or my bum, I never straighten my legs, I always scrunch them up!
* Eventually finish college, doing something I love
* Exercise- I'm really slacking right now
* Not kill my garden, the poor thing
* Serve more, be a better friend
Current Obsessions-
* Goober's Lab game on webkinz ( thanks to Steph- Dustin is not impressed with your influence!)
* Ice cream cones- my fav is huckleberry at Reed's Dairy but alas its clear in IF (better for my fanny!)
* blogging, athough I'm not keeping up very well!
* summer, outside stuff, hanging with my kids, sleep, reading!
Random Surprising Facts-
* I'm a marathon teeth brusher, It takes me ten minutes to brush every time
* I'm married to a chef, and I hate cooking! (poor Dustin)
* When I was little my dream was to be an artist and live in NY City, now my dream is to learn how to snow shoe, be a photographer, and never live in a city!
Okay, that took me a while! (Sorry Jen) Now I want to tag Wendy (no excuses, find a computer!), Amy, and Courtney!

Better Late Than Never...

Ashton was born to dance! She loves to be on the stage in front of people, shakin' her booty! Ethan on the other hand is more of a closet booty shaker! This is from Ashton's dance review in May, I actually tried to download her dance video (part of the reason this took so long to finally post, I temporarily gave up) but I haven't gotten to that part in computering for dummies yet. So they did a Disney theme, Ashton's group did Peter Pan and Cruella De Ville. I think she's perfect for the part! In the crocodile picture her friend Brylee is on her right and in her Cruella picture her friend Gracie is on her right. I'm so glad she has good friends!

"Free Water, Only Two Cents!"

My kids are the best! They decided to have a water sale. The water would be free, only two cents! They also decided to give free samples! Who wouldn't love that customer service? I love the freedom of children to just live and not think of anything but the moment. What an inspiration to me! We added skittles to broaden our customer base- 15 skittles for only 5 cents. They ended up giving all of them to their friends. I'm sure they were just considering that the best advertising is after all, word of mouth...!

Knee it, Head it, Kick it, Boot it, But Don't Touch The Ball!

This post is really tardy, but hey better late than never right? Ashton signed up for soccer this year and while she was excited to play, it was always my dream to play soccer. Hey, you should be able to live through your kids some, as long as they're too young to know, right?! At first I wasn't sure she was loving it, but as the season went on she really excelled. She was nervous to kick the ball, but by her third game she was getting right in there. She never "got a score" but she got lot's of great kicks in and some very important assists! We are so proud of her for trying something new and working hard at it! Ethan can't wait to play next year and Mayse has been practicing her kicking for the future! The title is from the book Froggy Plays Soccer, which was the kids fav book during soccer season!

The Phantom of the Opera is There...

Here we are on our first date! Amy and I went to the CFSC Phantom of the Opera Night. It was so fun! Delon was out of town and Dustin was of course working, so we went together! I searched the internet for masquerade masks and came up with nothing so Amy had the great idea to make our own. Aren't they beautiful?! Move over Martha! My kids decided this looked too fun to pass up so we planned another make a mask night ! With only one tube of spilled glitter and minor arguing their Phantom masks were born.
It seems obvious where they get their creative talent...!

These Shoes Are Made for Walkin'....

This is me! Yes, a pair of shoes. Wendy and I were talking about what makes us different- she is a cute, have to have it pair of ballet flats. The kind that not only makes everyone comfortable and want to wear them all the time, but that makes you feel beautiful and that you can do anything. Everyone needs a great pair of black pumps- that's me! They're classic and go with lot's of things and sometimes blend in while other times definately make the outfit. Steph and I decided that she could be a great pair of esperillas. Refreshing, make you feel oh-so-cute and supportive yet playful. Chei-probably a pair of leopard print stilletos. Totally trendy-get-noticed-without-even- trying. I could go on and on with my list of favorite shoes. Suffice it to say I have the best "shoes" in my life a girl could ask for!
